An itinerary can start with a less than 10 minute walk from Hotel Britannia and see the Santa Teresa, inside the church of Santa Maria della Vittoria at Via XX Settembre, with its widely criticized sensual sculpture, a masterpiece of Bernini ; and continues in Via del Quirinale , at the corner of via delle Quattro Fontane where confined by the San Carlo, an art treasure chest and an intricate and powerful complex of the great Borromini, which continues up to via Quirinale to be able to view Sant'Andrea from the Quirinale, the response of Bernini to San Carlino. The church is known to be the pearl of the baroque for its precious marbles and the harmonious composition of concave and convex lines. Moving up the hills of the Quirinale, where the enormous residence of the President of the Republic can be found, and where one can enjoy the over looking view of the piazza, is one of the most beautiful views in Rome.
Descending from the hills by passing through via dello Scalone, you pass in front of the Scuderie papali, which was recently reconstructed by Gae Aulenti and the venue for important exhibits and manifests, then to arriving at Via del Tritone. Famous for its shopping and for taking strolls, the street opens to Piazza Barberini preciously beautified by the Fontana del Tritone, one of the most beautiful sights of Bernini.

From the Roma Fiumicino Airport, take the Leonardo Express train from Roma Termini Station. From the Termini station, take the Line A metro and stop at the Piazza della Repubblica. Continue walking up to the Piazza della Repubblica stop.
From the Roma Ciampino airport, take the Acotral/Schiaffini buses heading towards the direction of the Anagnina metro station. Take the Line A of the metro and stop at the Piazza della Repubblica. Continue walking up to the train stop at Piazza della Repubblica.
From the Roma Termini Train Station, you will reach the hotel with a less than 10 minute walk along via del Viminale (at the left exit from the station) up to Via Napoli, the fourth street at your right.
Or take the Line A metro and stop at the Piazza della Repubblica. Continue walking along Via Nazionale (around 200 meters) and turn on the third street on your left, via Napoli. Walk 100 meters straight ahead and you have arrived. The Hotel is No. 64.
Coming from the North, take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) freeway going towards the direction of Napoli, and take the Nomentana exit heading towards the city center. Continue along via Nomentana for around 15 km until reaching Piazza di Porta Pia. Pass under Porta Pia and continue on via XX Settembre until reaching Santa Susanna. Turn left at Via Vittorio Emanuele Orlando and continue up to Piazza della Repubblica. Turn left at Via Nazionale, the third street on your left, named Via Napoli. You have arrived! Hotel Britannia is number 64.
Coming from the South, take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) from the freeway, and take the Appia exit, heading towards the city center. Continue along Via Appia Nuova for around 15 km until reaching piazzale Appio, then turn left at Piazza di Porta San Giovanni. Continue going straight and turn left at Piazza di San Giovanni in Laterano, and then immediately turn left for Via Merulana.
Continue along the road until reaching Piazza di Santa Maria Maggiore, along the left side is the Basilica (via dell’Esquilino) and continue going straight at Via Torino.
After around 500 meters, turn left at Via Nazionale, therefore at the second street on your left is Via Napoli. You have arrived! Hotel Britannia is number 64.
